Today is the day we publicly thank all those who have given their lives in the defense of this country, the country that I love, the country that has allowed me to pursue my dreams.
It is the day that everyone should be thanking the soldiers, whether active or retired, for their service.
We unfortunately can no longer thank those who have given the ultimate sacrifice,
but we can remember them, to honor their memory.
We can do this by continuing to make this country the BEST it can be so that their sacrifice was not in vain.
