See sometimes mothers do know what they are talking about ... I use to think my mother was crazy when she told me something very "similar" to this when I was young and dating.
When you are looking for that "forever" person you need to remember this. It's really easy to love someone when everything is going great (if that is really love) but when times get tough .... maybe this is part of the reason why the divorce rate in America is so high.
