Asian Poached Salmon

Looking for something quick and easy to make for dinner?  Tupperware HAS the answer, yet again!  I am really loving all these quick and easy recipes I've found using Tupperware products.  I hope you haven't gotten too tired of seeing them.  Please tell me you haven't.

Serves 4
Preparation Time: 20 minutes

3 tbsp. chicken broth or white wine
1 lb. skinless salmon fillet
2 tsp. fresh ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. peanut or vegetable oil
 2 cups broccoli florets

1/2 cup green onions
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. Sesame oil

Finely mince the ginger.  Combine ginger, salt, and peanut oil in a small bowl. Brush over salmon.

Place broth or wine in bottom of SmartSteamer (Water Tray).  Place salmon on SmartSteamer Base and surround with broccoli.  You can also separate the salmon and the broccoli by adding Broccoli to Colander Tray (I love this versatility!) and cover.

Microwave on high power (100%) for 2 minutes, let stand 2 minutes and microwave an additional 2 minutes or until salmon registers 145°F on an instant-read thermometer or until color is opaque.

Remove dish from microwave. Drizzle onion topping mixture over fish.

a lovely recipe and the topping sounds great. I like the previous recipe too. I am a big fish and shellfish fan, so any recipe for fish is a hit with me. Hope you have a good week.
