We should be honoring these men and women every day, but today is the day the Federal Government has set to honor those with US military service.
It is also the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice ending World War I, which is observed in many countries around the world.
This is just my little thanks to each and every Veteran and his or her family for your sacrifice and service.
Today, if not every day, please thank the Veteran for their service.
In many cases, whether you can see it or not, they have given far more for your safety and freedom than you will ever know.
And if you can, make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project or visit your local Veterans Hospital and spend some time with those who may be far from home still and in need of a smile or a hug or just an ear to listen.
