I saw this one and had to laugh - this SOOOO reminds me of when I was little.
We NEVER told my father that we didn't want something that was "offered" for dinner.
If we did - we got an "extra" spoonful because we were so happy to see it on the table. Very soon we got to realize that taking 1 spoonful (even if it was bigger than we wanted) was better than 2!
So now my kids know
1) why they had to try EVERYTHING I made for meals
and
2) Where my dinner "options" came from.
I know I was a horrible mother .........
