Recipe Inspirations by McCormick Review & Giveaway

Have you seen these in the supermarket?

I love the fact that all the spices, in the correct measurement, is together in the package AND a recipe card that you can use to make it again with your own spices (or just buy another card packet)

From McCormick's website -
The new McCormick Recipe Inspirations collection puts flavorful twists on traditional recipes that will impress everyone at your dinner table. Recipe Inspirations makes trying McCormick’s best recipes fun and easy. Each packet includes pre-measured McCormick spices and herbs and a collectible recipe card. With just a few of your own fresh ingredients, you’ve got inspiration to make a memorable meal any night of the week.

For dinner this Sunday afternoon, I used the Apple & Sage Pork Chops card of spices, but instead of pork chops, I used a pork tenderloin.  I want to tell you they are not kidding when they say that it will impress everyone at your table.

We had the pork tenderloin with Mashed Potatoes, Apple/cranberry stuffing, corn and green beans for the 4 of us and there is very little tenderloin left it was that good.  It was super easy, super quick and very easy to make.  The directions on the recipe card are very clear and because there is almost no measuring (had to measure the flour and salt) there's no way to over or under season.

Although the website for McCormick's says there are 14 different recipe cards, I have not yet seen all of these.  The ones I have seen, have been revolved around chicken, but they do have one for Shrimp, Tilapia, Salmon and Steak and of course the Pork I tried.  As much as I love to cook and have my own "collection" of spices and make my own spice blends, I will continue to look for more of the cards so that I can try them all.  They really do make meal preparation a breeze.

To help get your kitchen set up for fabulous meals in the coming new year (can you believe its almost 2012?), I have gathered a collection of McCormick Recipe Inspiration Spice cards (11 of the 14) for 1 lucky winner.  I will continue to look for the remaining 3 to "add to the prize box" so that you may be able to sample all they have to offer.

Once again I will be using the very easy Rafflecopter format for this giveaway.

I've tried this too!! VERY yummy! It's the only one in our small commissary, so I haven't seen/tried any of the other flavors. I don't normally buy these kind of things, but it really sounded good and I don't have a camera phone!

I'd love to win! Hugs!
