Life is like .......

I saw this a few weeks ago and thought it pretty well summed things up.

We need to be motivated to move forward.  We need to know what the "next chapter" holds for us.  Yes it could be sad.  BUT it could be exciting and happy and fun and well worth "turning the page".

Yes, today is Memorial Day.

Today is the day we publicly thank all those who have given their lives in the defense of this country, the country that I love, the country that has allowed me to pursue my dreams.

It is the day that everyone should be thanking the soldiers, whether active or retired, for their service.








We unfortunately can no longer thank those who have given the ultimate sacrifice,

but we can remember them, to honor their memory.



We can do this by continuing to make this country the BEST it can be so that their sacrifice was not in vain.

I love this set!  I have had the smaller pitcher forever and I have to tell you it really really works!  I can not tell you how many times, especially when my kids were small, that pitchers seemed to mysteriously tip over and drench the table.  When the lid is on this pitcher .... no more spills!  It's really easy to use, easy to clean, it is a mother's best friend!!
