What's your favorite position?

Ok get your mind OUT OF THE GUTTER!

If that's what you THOUGHT, then you might be very disappointed.
But I personally thought this was a great position.

Definitely one to aspire to.

 How about you?
 What's YOUR favorite position?

And please keep it clean.  This IS a family friendly blog.

Teach our Children Well

This is absolutely PERFECT.  Ms Hepburn was a very wise woman,
not just a wonderful actress.

It should be taught to all from the very beginning.  Perhaps that would lead to many more "living the dream" because they knew in their hearts that it was POSSIBLE.

So shall we print this out and put it on our refrigerators (you know like we use to do with our childhood treasures from school) so that it would be one of the first things we see each day.

I WILL accomplish everything I try
because
I'm Possible!

This is also something that our Tupperware USA president is always saying.

YOU can do anything
when you believe that

I'M POSSIBLE!

Are you grateful?

I am not a huge Oprah fan.  I admit it.
Now I know some of you will be clicking right past this post because I said that, but there are things that she has said or done, that I don't agree with.  There are things, like this that just needs to be broadcasted to as many people as possible - it is that powerful.

I think if more people were grateful for the things that they have today, and not coveting what others have or even hating someone who has more or different things, we would be in a better place.  Some have more or different things because they earned them -- worked for them -- gave up other things to get it.

If you are grateful for what you have, for what you have earned .... you might actually be happy with where you are and able to see what you need to do to move up to the next level YOU want to accomplish.

Hand outs are not the answer.
Redistribution of wealth is not the answer.

Lets start by being happy with what we have and where we are right now ...
and then work towards getting whatever else we want.

Always Be Strong....

There is no doubt about it ... this was part of the reason I started my blog oh so many years ago.

You just never know.

You don't know who is looking at you and using you as their inspiration to move forward.

You just don't know what you might say or do that will be someone's inspiration.

Quick Chicken, Cheddar, Bacon "Rice" Casserole

Another great recipe from GoodCook.com that would work very well in the Tupperware Stack Cooker.  I love using my Stack Cooker and my microwave - which is a wonderful addition to my cooking repertoire.

This looks so awesome, I may be trying it tonight ... I think I just might have everything in my kitchen already!

Microwave Chicken, Cheddar & Bacon “Rice” Casserole

The fastest dinner on the block is one that’s already a favorite! We've taken the classic Broccoli and Cheddar Casserole and turned it into a deliciously simple microwave meal! All the ingredients can be purchased pre-made. All you have to do is mix, microwave, and serve up a deliciously homemade dinner in minutes!
Serves: 4
INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 1/2 cups Uncooked orzo pasta
  • 1 (10.5 oz) Can chicken broth
  • 1 (10.5 oz) Can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 pound Cooked diced chicken
  • 1 (16 oz) bag Frozen chopped broccoli
  • 2 cups Sharp cheddar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
1.) Tools Needed: Good Cook Microwave-safe bowl
2.) Place orzo and chicken broth in a large bowl. Cook on high for 12-15 minutes, just until the pasta becomes tender.
3.) Stir in cream of mushroom soup, diced chicken, broccoli, and cheddar. Return to the microwave and cook an additional 5 minutes, just until the cheese melts and the casserole becomes hot. Serve and enjoy!
Recipe created by  exclusively for Good Cook

The only thing I would change is no Mushroom Soup, I'd use Cream of Chicken, since hubby and daughter don't "do" mushrooms.  BUT, Thank you GoodCook.com for another AWESOME recipe!

2 of life's greatest challenges

I saw this and thought it was great.

It may not be the 2 greatest challenges in life that I would think of right off the bat, but they are definitely 2 challenges that we all must do to grow as a person and be happy.

What do you think?

Everything looks different

I think this is part of what is meant when they say hindsight is 20 / 20.
Or maybe you can't see the forest for the trees.

Sometimes we get caught up in the day to day, the problems that seem to be insurmountable, that we have to take a step back and realize what the past looked like - really looked like - and decide that things have changed.

Hopefully they have changed for the better - but if not .... you can work towards making the change again - hopefully for the better this time.
