I am kind of excited about this one because they always seem to have something new for the start of a new Catalog but also for the start of a new Year!

It's a new Mid Month Brochure for Tupperware!

I do love to share here the mid month brochures each month.
I know I have been lax this year, but so much has happened to my family, that my blog and businesses have suffered.  Sorry.

BUT it is time for the Mid September brochure to come out ... as always there are items that are only available or only available at this price for a short time. 

One of the things I really love about this brochure are the Modular Mates.  They are usually on sale in January when everyone is trying to do their New Years Resolutions to get organized or eat better so they stock up on healthier grains and snacks and such.

Remember these are only available for a few weeks at this price so unless you want to wait until January (and hopefully they will have a sale then) grab these from my Tupperware Site before they are gone!

These are the rest of those items that are in the Mid September brochure ... and I have to say the Halloween stuff is FANTASTIC for the kids!  The tumblers and snack cups are soooo cute!  
If you are having a party, the big orange bowl is a must.  Halloween treats for everyone or if you aren't going out ... how about a popcorn bowl for the movies watching scary movies??

I also like the orange canister with the carolier as the perfect Trick or Treat container.  No losing things because of a hole in the bag ... and because it has a black seal, the candies will stay safe when you try to get the kids to go easy on the candy and not inhale it all in 1 night!

Oh how I love everything in this brochure, but another must have is the mandoline.  I have had mine for a few years and use it often.  Its perfect for salad days, cucumbers and carrots are a breeze.  Taking corn kernels off of the cob was something I actually figured our this year.  
How about shredding cabbage?  Yes its perfect for that too.  
I've even used it to evenly slice apples.  

At this price ... its a steal!

Tupperware Sale that is good for one week only

I'm actually liking these 1 week only sales.
They are giving some great deals and things keep moving.
I'm not sure if its because we are celebrating our 70th year of Parties or its the summer or what ... but I'm loving it!

This week is a great back to school option with some pieces that I love

The Impressions bowls are great for so many things ... but we love to use them for salads.
The big bowl is great for green salads, the middle bowl works for our potato salad and the little bowl works great for our macaroni salad.  Now there are only 3 of us at home for most meals now, so if you have a BIG family you might have to change things up a bit, but its a great starting point.

The mini rice maker was a staple for us when my daughter was in college.  
Made some super easy and quick rice that I sometimes still use today.  Especially if its just 1 or 2 for dinner.

The Thirstquake Tumblers are great for those big glasses of iced tea that the summer just asks you to have.

Tupperware Mid July 2018

Have you been wondering what happened to Tupperware posts?
Well you may or may not know how difficult things have been for me this year so I'm doing a restart with the Mid July Tupperware brochure.

It's Big, Really Big

Today is December 30th, the start of a "new year" at Tupperware. 

And of course that means its the Adult Legos Sale month!
Yes, it was started last week, but with Christmas and Family visits and everything ... I didn't get to really share.

Today is the start of Tupperware's Big Weeks Brochure.  I love my Modular Mates!  I have almost finished my kitchen cabinets (yes I have all kinds of things in Tupperware Modular Mates including my bulk spices that are perfect for oval or super oval 1s and 2s!).

Have a Tupperware Homemade Hot Cocoa Party

 I'm sharing a party idea from another team that was shared by my director.

This so sounds like the perfect way to start the year.

Especially since it sounds like its going to be a cold one!

In January all my in home Tupperware parties are going to be "Hot Cocoa" Parties.
This is the recipe I'm going to use. I'm going to make up a batch (ok maybe more than 1) for home too.

In my parties I will bring the mix in Modular Mates and then suggest that my host get FUN with the additives...whipped cream, peppermint schnapps, baileys or fun marshmallows!

This definitely sounds like a hit!!!

Homemade Hot Cocoa Mix
Makes 17 cups of mix

Ingredients:

• 1 - 8qt box of Powdered Milk
• 1 - 16 oz jar of Creamer (change by using flavored creamer)
• 1 - cup Sugar
• 1 - cup Powdered Sugar
• 1 - 20oz container of Nesquik

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a Tupperware Thatsa Bowl.
Seal & mix well.
Store in a Tupperware Modular Mate Square 3.
Label & Date. Use within 6 months.


*To make one serving of Hot Chocolate:

• Add 1/3 cup of mix  
• 8 oz of Hot Water 
• Stir to dissolve. 
• Add in some "fun" additions or leave plain.
• Top with whipped cream or marshmallows.

Mid December 2017 for Tupperware

I love the middle of the month.
I love when we get to see what is available just for the next "month".

Sometimes it is something that we don't have in the regular catalog ... so you get a short window to grab some products at an awesome price that not everyone will have.

Sometimes it is something in a much different color.
Sometimes it is something that hasn't been seen for a while.

Tupperware's Mid November brochure

You know I love my Tupperware, but I love it even more at the start of each "mid month" brochure because of the sale prices on pieces in our regular quarterly catalog, but also because there are things that are not in the regular catalog at a great deal.

That is what I see in this brochure.

We have some awesome pieces for planned over storage, but my all time favorite is the Stuffables.
These are the best all year round, but even more so during the holidays when we always always have "extras".  I love these because they have a great expandable top when you need just that little more headroom for your mashed potatoes or steamed veggies and so much more.  And at this price it is a steal!  It's at an even better price this year over last year.

And then there is that large storage tote.
It is great for holiday decoration storage, but I saw the other day that someone used it for a Texas Sheet Cake!

As is the norm, we have some short term items to share with you as well.  Just remember, these go away after November 24th so grab yours while you can.

If by this time, you are needing a new lunch "box" for work or school or whenever, we have this great looking one.  It comes with a Sandwich Keeper, Snack Cup and a tumbler.  
I personally like the Lunch-it Containers.  I can use this to make my own bento box type lunches.  And you get 2 for this price.

If you want to take a small side salad, the mini Salad Keeper is great.  And of course having the ability to have your dressing on the side, at least to travel, is perfect - no soggy veggies. 

If that's not enough, you can add a Commuter Mug for your coffee or tea for the ride in.

I have a couple of the Wine Totes.  They make great gifts, filled with your favorite bottle of wine or after dinner liquor.  Looks so much better than a brown bag, and you could either take it home later or leave it as a gift to your host, so he/she will remember how wonderful you are every time they see it!

White Chili of Root Vegetables

This one looks interesting.   
Especially since it is getting to be chili time here in the Northeast.  Maybe in your part of the country as well.

Of course I never think of chili without either beef or chicken, but with this even vegetarians can enjoy the flavor of a chili!

Yield: 4
Serving Size: 2 cups

Ingredients

• 4 medium carrots, peeled
• 1 large russet potato, peeled
• 4 medium parsnips, peeled
• 2 cups cauliflower florets
• 5 garlic cloves, peeled
• 3 cups chicken or vegetable stock
• 1 (4-oz.) can green chilies
• 1 tbsp. dried oregano
• 1 tbsp. ground cumin
• 1 tsp. kosher salt
• 3 tbsp. instant masa
• 6 tbsp. salted butter
• Fresh cilantro, lime wedges, minced jalapeno for garnish

Instructions

1. Roughly chop carrots and potato, transfer to the base of the PowerChef™ System fitted with blade attachment. Cover and pull cord until finely chopped. 
2. Transfer ingredients to the TupperWave® Stack Cooker 3-Qt. Casserole. 
3. Repeat steps with parsnips, cauliflower and garlic.
4. Stir in stock, green chilies, oregano, cumin, salt, masa and butter.
5. Cover and microwave on high power 22 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
6. Remove Stack Cooker from microwave, uncover, and stir chili.
7.  Serve warm with fresh cilantro, lime wedges and minced jalapeno.

Candy Corn Rice Krispy Treats

I saw these the other day on my Tupperware site, and thought oh me there are going to be some really happy little people out there.  And then I thought all those folks that aren't fans of Candy Corn might like these too ... 

I can see these being a big hit at a Halloween party ... or just for your kids lunches!

Yield: 8

Serving Size: 1 slice (about ¾ cup)

Ingredients

• 1 cup marshmallow fluff
• 3 tbsp. unsalted butter
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 6 cups crispy rice cereal
• 4 drops yellow food coloring, divided
• 3 drops red food coloring

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, heat marshmallow, butter and vanilla over medium-low heat until melted and well combined, about 3 minutes.
2. In a large bowl, combine rice cereal, pour marshmallow mixture over cereal and stir to combine.
3. Divide cereal mixture between 3 large bowls. 
4. Wearing food-safe gloves, mix 2 drops of yellow food coloring by hand into 1 bowl of the cereal; set aside. 
5. Mix 2 drops of yellow and the red food coloring together with another bowl of rice cereal; set aside.
6. Divide the 2½-cup Medium Shallow Rectangular Freeze-It® PLUS container visually into thirds, lengthwise. 
7. Fill each third of the container with each color of the rice cereal mixture, pressing firmly into place, to create a white strip, orange strip and yellow strip.
8. Refrigerate until firm. 
9. Unmold onto a cutting board and cut diagonally into triangles.
10.  Place in festive cellophane bags for the holidays.

I LOVE my Mandolin for so many different things, but to slice up apples on a nice even thickness for apple pie, apple dippers, ... can't wait for you to see how well these work.
And of course we all need an apple corer!  I need to get a few. Don't ask.

Oh did I say apple dippers?  Check out the dipper bowl ... makes some great dippers for your fruit, but its all about the apple in September right??  (chocolates are perfect right?) 
I also LOVE the color of the vent n serve pieces.

Tupperware's College Dorm Room Care Package

Do you have a child who has recently gone off to college?
Or do you know one that is special to you?

Are they ready for those nights when they just can't find anything at the college dining hall that makes them want to sit and eat?  

How about for when the munchies hit after the dining hall is closed for the night?  Or during those late night mid term exam cram sessions?  You know we all get stressed out and need something to eat.  How about supplying them with good food instead of junk.

Tupperware has the answer ... again.

If they are a TupperKid, we know they are prepare with a good stock of products to start. Here’s some great pieces of Tupperware that I suggest:

• Microwave Rice Maker

Care Package #1

We call care package #1 Mexican Night, for a perfect for a Tuesday or any night. 

Pack up these dry ingredients with the below instructions and send it to their way (note: your college student will need to purchase the perishables for both recipes when ready to start cooking. We wouldn’t recommend mailing mangoes—that could get messy).

• 1 small bag Jasmine rice
• 1 can black beans
• 1 small can green chills
• DIY Southwest Chipotle seasoning or favorite seasoning mix

Serves: 4 (so roommates can join in)
Serving Size: about 1 cup
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 8 minutes

Ingredients:

• 3/4 cup Jasmin rice
• 1 cup black beans, drained, rinsed
• 2 tbsp. green chilies
• 2 tbsp. DIY Southwest Chipotle Seasoning Blend, or favorite Southwest seasoning
• 2 cups water
• 1/2 tsp. kosher salt, divided
• 1 small garlic clove, peeled, minced
• 3/4 cup chopped avocado
• 3/4 cup chopped mango
• ¼ cup chopped cilantro
• 1 lime, cut into quarters

Directions:

1. In the base of the Rice Maker stir together rice, beans, chilies, seasoning, water, and ¼ tsp. of the salt. 
2. Place rice insert on base; place rice cover on insert. 
3. Microwave on high power 5 minutes, then 50% power for 10 minutes more. 
4. Remove from microwave, set aside.
5. In a medium bowl toss together garlic, avocado, mango, and remaining salt; set aside.
6. Divide rice evenly between 4 serving bowls. 
7. Top with ¼ of the avocado mixture, garnish with cilantro and squeeze of lime.

Care Package #2

Care package #2 is for Italian Night. 

For this one, put the follow ingredients in the mail:

• 1 lb. box of rotini pasta
• Small bottle of olive oil
• 1 jar sun dried tomato packed in olive oil
• 1 small bag chopped walnuts

Serves: 4 (again great for roommates or study partners)
Serving Size: about 1 cup
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 8 minutes

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
• 1 small garlic clove, peeled
• ¼ cup chopped sundried tomatoes (packed in oil)
• ½ cup fresh parsley or basil
• ¼ cup chopped walnuts
• ½ lb. rotini pasta
• 1 1/4 tsp. kosher salt, divided
• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

1. In the base of the Power Chef® System with blade attachment, add olive oil, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and ¼ tsp. of salt. 
2. Cover and pull cord until garlic and tomatoes are well minced. 
3. Add parsley and walnuts. Cover and pull cord until finely chopped.
4. In the Round Pasta Maker, add rotini and remaining salt. Add water to max fill line. 
5. Microwave on high power 8 minutes or until al-dente.
6. Drain and transfer to large bowl. 
7. Pour olive oil mixture over pasta, toss to coat. 
8. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top. 
9. Serve warm.

You could be the hit of his or her dorm with these little care packages arriving at just the right time.

After having 2 in college, I feel like I'm a "pro" at being prepared for dorm meals.  Not that my 2 were picky eaters or anything.

Now I have to check and see if there is something my niece needs to keep her stomach and that of her roommates full this semester, without worry of the Freshman 10.

New Mid Month Brochure ... August!

I almost forgot to share this!

It's time for another mid month brochure here at my Tupperware Site.

There are some really wonderful and cute things in this mid month's brochure.
And as is our norm, there are a few short term items that you don't want to miss.

These are really great for the upcoming school year.  The Cupcake Keepers are soooo cute for keeping those lunch treats in 1 piece ... I mean who wants to have frosting in a bag and not on the cake.
Oh and that SnackBar Maker ... make your own bars and cute out the preservatives.  The Keepers are perfect for the SnackBars you can make in the Maker, but also for other treats too ... cookies, peanut butter crackers and more!

 

 

If you have a Minions lover in your house, or know one ... this set is soooo cute.  Can you see them having their snacks in this?  I bet you could even use it for lunches too.

Or keep those special treats together so they can pick their own as a reward.









Speaking of lunches ..

I have this "pre" PLUS and use it all the time when I am taking lunch to work.

I love that my salad doesn't get soggy with dressing and everything is packed together ready to go.  

Have some leftover protein from last nights dinner?  Grilled Chicken, Steak, Grilled Pork ... all would be perfect over a salad. Make that salad as you are cleaning/packing up any leftovers (or planned-overs, as we call them) and you really can just grab and go in the morning.

Oh and I haven't seen it yet ... but starting today (probably by this evening) items from the FALL catalog will be available for sale too!  Yes, that means you can get an order together from the Summer AND Fall catalogs AND Mid August brochure!
