Your Journey

This is another on the theme of walking a mile in my shoes before you judge me.

I would love to put this in the face of some who I have met over the years.
I know you know what I am talking about.
They think that you are "whining" about things that you should just power over.
You should just "ignore" this problem or that without knowing what is going on in your life.

I know I have caught myself sometimes thinking that someone should stop whining or crying or doing the poor me thing, and then I think about their situation and think ... but for the Grace of God go I.
And then hopefully I go and try to help them out ... even if its just with a hug or an ear to listen that makes them feel better, that makes them feel like someone cares, even if its just for a few minutes.

If you can't laugh at yourself every now and again, I'll do it for you (you know you already give me enough reasons to laugh, even when you are not trying to) and you will do the same for me (I will try to give you LOTS of reasons ... I know, I know, it will be difficult because I am such a serious person).

Just One Positive Thought

I knew this was something that EVERYONE needed to see.
Like everyone, there are some days that are just total downers.
You just want to get back into bed and pull the covers over your head.

DON'T ..... because

So here is to 1 positive thought to start the day ....... and then you know that more will follow.

Confidence

Confidence is not always about being right or knowing that you are right, its about knowing that even if you fail, you learned something.

I hope we can instill this in our children -
lets not just "follow like sheep" but instill confidence so they can stretch their wings and learn to fly!

Strawberry Salsa

Have you been looking for something "different" for your table?  Something to add to your dishes that would just make them POP??  How about some Strawberry Salsa??  Sounds pretty interesting right?

I really think this sounds interesting, and will be especially interesting over a grilled Chicken breast or even a Pork Chop or Tenderloin.  I will be trying this one very soon (like right after tax season ends and I can start cooking again).  Of course I have the Tupperware pieces that they used here to make the Strawberry Salsa.  You know that you could have them in your kitchen too if you picked them up (or so much more) on my Tupperware Site
