Is today your birthday? It is? Well Happy Birthday!

Did you know that makes you a Leap Baby? I have a cousin who is a Leap Baby ..... I think that makes him really really young - I mean he only has to increase his age every 4 years, right?! I think that means he can't legally drink yet - even though he's in his late 30s (I think)

No seriously, all kidding aside. Do you know how "special" it is to have a birthday today?

Now I know that doesn't sound all that impressive - I mean 4.8 MILLION others share your birthday, but when you hear that all the other birth day possibilities have more than 19 million people sharing their day, well it makes sharing your birthday with 4.8 million seem pretty unique.

This is something I have to remind myself of from time to time, when I'm not liking the number that I see.

It really is JUST a number - it does NOT define me. It does NOT make me the person that I am ....... it is just a number. If I don't like that number it is my responsibility to change it.

A Strong Person

Do you know someone like this? 

Do you know someone that you thought was so cool, calm and collected  that you believed them to be so unfeeling that they were almost robot like.  Perhaps, just perhaps they were the really strong person they are talking about.

I know now, that I have met quite a few strong people during my lifetime.

Forgiveness

It's been a rough few days with a lot of things going on, so when I saw this on a friends Facebook page, I looked at it as a sign of what I have to do.

Now if I can just do it I know I would be a peace within myself and the heck with others - they have their own problems to deal with - I just wish it didn't involved me.

Some very very true words that I try to live by.
Sometimes I forget and get bogged down in the "everyday" and forget to really live.
