We always need lots of pens and notebooks.
Is this not open to Canadians? Is paypal an option for the prize?
Usually pens and pencils and a binder.
I usually need to get sandwich bags and food to make lunches.
What I usually need to get last minute during the first month of back to school is pads of paper and pens/pencils.

this year our back to school was college!! We knew we'd need a few items but then when we unpack, we had a much larger list! LOL. Things like storage boxes, over the door hooks, etc.

It is usually stuff that a certain teacher requires for the class, such as graph paper.
I usually need to get that one item that I cannot find anywhere, like a specific type of binder or specific required notebook.
I don't have any school age children now, but when I did, I would have to get notebooks, like a 5 subject, the teacher especially wanted them to use.
My kids are in college, so ordering their books from Amazon or getting them at the bookstore are usually the things we have to get.
Well...my kids are already grown up, so I don't have to do that anymore. However, when they did go to school, we would always be scrambling to get enough notebooks! Oh...also folders!
I don't have any children going back to school, I usually wait til the last minute on office supplies sales tho

Socks! We always wear alot of sandals in the summer and then I realize how big little feet have grown during BTS.

I usually end up buying something that isn't what they needed because the list wasn't descriptive enough so I have to go back out and get the right thing, this year it was a binder.
Notebooks- As many as we buy at the beginning of school, they always seem to be the wrong kind or not enough. So, I'm off searching for the correct kind the first week.
