Remember when you see someone on the street, that this COULD be THAT day for them.
Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.
Kindness is in our power, even when fondness is not.
To be thoughtful and kind only takes a few seconds
compared to the timeless hurt caused by one rude gesture.
When I was young, I admired clever people.
Now that I am old, I admire kind people.

interesting. you're "tired of too many hand outs and too much kissing of others butts for fear we will offend them." so does your kindness extend to those people, or only to people that don't offend you?
Interesting that only I have to be kind and extend my kindness to them but they don't have to be kind or stop taking from me just because they can. Why is it that they can have everything by handouts or I must stop flying my flag, learn their language because they refuse to learn English or praying in public places because it "offends" them .... what about the fact that my not being able to do those things offends me ?? Or doesn't that count?
Oh I'm sorry I forgot
Interesting Meese - you can make a comment but refuse to open your blog to others .... guess that's another way to hide. Just short of being anonymous.
Thank you for stopping by.
