My father is deceased and unfortunately, he was an absent father to me and my 7 siblings. But I can tell you about what a great father my husband is! No matter what day, what hour, what he's doing, he will take a call from one of our children or visit them to help in any way. They know their dad is very special and one in a million!

ReplyDeleteMy Dad died when I was 21. I still miss him and talk to him everyday. He gave me so much - not things - but a wonderful life. My ex wasn't a very good Dad but my son is a fantastic Dad and lives near so I get to enjoy my grandson, too. I would love the gift for my son.

ReplyDeleteI would much rather tell you about my husband, he is a great dad to our 12 year old son. He will sit and listen to hours of Minecraft and Skyrim talk just because our son is interested in it.

My Dad, something special, he is pretty rough around the edges. But he is really good at teaching kids things about safety or swimming etc.

He made me a Barbie house when I was younger.

ReplyDeleteI hardly know where to begin with this one-- there are so many incredible things to say about my dad.
ReplyDeleteOne noteworthy thing about my dad is that he has several very close friends, many of whom he's known since high school or college. He's an incredibly likeable person, and virtually everyone who's met him-- if only for a very brief while-- has nothing but wonderful things to say about him.
He's simply a wonderful person, and I admire him greatly.
I didn't meet my dad until I was over a year old. He is actually my step dad but he is the only dad I have ever known. From the time my mom first met my dad I was his daughter. He never treated me any differently. I was always his little girl.
