I'm in a "holiday mode" which means I am doing all kinds of running to get everything together for the holiday season when everyone (ok not everyone but it sure feels that way) gets to come to my house.
EEEKKK its super cleaning time.
Anyway, I decided that since I am buying gifts for my family, I should be buying one for you, my reader family.
I would love to be able to give everyone a gift, but alas I am not that crazy ... ok maybe I am that crazy but my pocket is just not that full.
One of my readers will receive a set of adult coloring/doodle books and some colored pencils to help them relax during this very stressful time of year.
I know that just the simple act of coloring and creating some pretty designs is very soothing to the mind. I can't remember where I saw this, but I know they actually did a study to prove it.
So when I saw these I just had to grab a few to share with you. Especially when one of them is called "The Art of Inspiration".

- take an Epsom salt bath with essential oils and light some candles.
- have a cup of tea and read a book by the fireplace.
- colour in my adult coloring book with soft music in the background.
- do some yoga and some meditation.
- go for a nice long walk

ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays! My favorite way to decompress is to do a "spa" night. Starting with a hot scented bath, do a face mask, and end with lots of lovely moisturizer. Another way I enjoy is coloring or painting with my metallic water colors in coloring books. So fun! Thank-you for this awesome & generous chance. :)

My favorite way to decompress is to take my dogs to the dog park. We have a beautiful dog park in my small city with a creek that runs through it. There is nothing better than hanging out with lots of dogs and fellow dog lovers.
