Snickerdoodle Mug Cake
If you like Snickerdoodle Cookies, you’ll love this easy microwave mug cake! Cinnamon swirled cake batter is cooked to tender perfection, topped with cinnamon-sugar, and served with ice cream and caramel sauce. A delicious way to get your snack on…quick!
Serves: 1
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Egg
- 3/4 cup Vanilla cake mix
- 1/3 cup Milk
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 3 tbsp Cinnamon
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- Optional: Scoop vanilla ice cream
- Optional: Caramel Sauce
DIRECTIONS:
1.) In a small bowl, whisk together egg, vanilla cake mix, and milk.
2.) In a second small bowl, stir together the cinnamon and sugar. Spoon 3 tablespoons of the mixture into the batter then use a fork to swirl the cinnamon-sugar lightly into the batter.
3.) Place a 1-tablespoon slice of butter into the bottom of a Good Cook ceramic soup mug. Spoon 1/2 of the batter on top, place a second slice of butter. Spoon the remaining batter into the mug, top with the last tablespoon of butter, then sprinkle with remaining cinnamon and sugar.
4.) Microwave on high for 2-4 minutes, just until the center of the cake is set and the cake bounces back when touched lightly.
5.) Top cake with ice cream and drizzle with caramel sauce, if desired. Enjoy immediately.
