Being Alone vs Being Lonely

I happened upon this one on my sister's Facebook Page



Sometimes she has the BEST pictures posted.  Sometimes they are really funny, and make me laugh for much more time than it should.  Sometimes they are really insightful and very deep that makes you sit up and take notice......and make you Think!

    I agree with the sentiments of the photo. It's quite possible to be in a full room or in a relationship and discover that you feel lonely. Maybe some people confuse the meaning of these two words?

    In agreement. I revel in being alone. It takes a lot of aloneness for me to feel lonely.

    Completely agree! I often love being alone. I always wondered about people who had to be with others all the time. And being with the wrong people is such an energy drain.

    I agree.I think sometimes with children and work and partners, alone time becomes rare and can feel strange at first. But once you get into it it is fabulous!
