It's National Coffee Day

Today is the day ...

National COFFEE DAY!!

I don't know about you ... but today (and every day for that matter) this is perfect.
I can just smell the roasted beans.

I hope you have a cup or two for me.
I know I will be on my second (or maybe third) by the time this posts.
Have you had at least one already?

Have a great Saturday
and Coffee Day!

Do you know what defines YOU?

I heard this the other day when I was binge watching one of the shows that I had really liked but was not renewed for the upcoming season.
Yes I was rather bummed about that one.

Anyway, during one of the episodes in season 3 when mom was talking to one of the agents about why she cut off contact with her she said the first part of this post that I thought was pretty profound.

As the episode was ending, and mom was apologizing, the agent spoke the second part.  Which just about blew my mind.

Sometimes even TV shows have things we can learn from and not just escape from our daily grind.

You are defined
by the sum total
of your decisions.

Not
the last bad decision
you made.

What do you think?
Does it ring true to you, as it does to me?

Everyone makes a bad decision from time to time.
IF we learn from those bad decisions we are can move on and become a better person.

Finding your joy

What can I say, I'm in an inspirational mode at the moment.
I guess that means I am needing a little inspiration for myself.

I think this one is especially relevant when you are starting to think that what you wanted and worked so hard to get just isn't what you thought it would be.

I know a few people that this could be very appropriate for.
They just couldn't seem to find that "niche" that they wanted to be in.
They had tried for years to find that "perfect fit" ... and thought they had landed the dream.

Now they aren't so sure.

It time for them to stop looking so far ahead that they miss the perfectness of what they have and what they have done.  Sometimes when we try to make things happen we miss what good has already happened to us.

Thanks to FindingJoy and The Brave Art of Motherhood for the reminders.  I've seen some really great things there.  May even see more from time to time.

It's a new Mid Month Brochure for Tupperware!

I do love to share here the mid month brochures each month.
I know I have been lax this year, but so much has happened to my family, that my blog and businesses have suffered.  Sorry.

BUT it is time for the Mid September brochure to come out ... as always there are items that are only available or only available at this price for a short time.

One of the things I really love about this brochure are the Modular Mates.  They are usually on sale in January when everyone is trying to do their New Years Resolutions to get organized or eat better so they stock up on healthier grains and snacks and such.

Remember these are only available for a few weeks at this price so unless you want to wait until January (and hopefully they will have a sale then) grab these from my Tupperware Site before they are gone!

These are the rest of those items that are in the Mid September brochure ... and I have to say the Halloween stuff is FANTASTIC for the kids!  The tumblers and snack cups are soooo cute!
If you are having a party, the big orange bowl is a must.  Halloween treats for everyone or if you aren't going out ... how about a popcorn bowl for the movies watching scary movies??

I also like the orange canister with the carolier as the perfect Trick or Treat container.  No losing things because of a hole in the bag ... and because it has a black seal, the candies will stay safe when you try to get the kids to go easy on the candy and not inhale it all in 1 night!

Oh how I love everything in this brochure, but another must have is the mandoline.  I have had mine for a few years and use it often.  Its perfect for salad days, cucumbers and carrots are a breeze.  Taking corn kernels off of the cob was something I actually figured our this year.
How about shredding cabbage?  Yes its perfect for that too.
I've even used it to evenly slice apples.

At this price ... its a steal!

Remember we also just started our Fall/Holiday catalog so you need to scroll through our online brochure (also found on my Tupperware Site, left side Catalog tab).  You can order from either or both catalog and brochure together, just make sure if you are looking for things in the short term portion of the Mid September brochure you don't miss the end date!

If you have any questions, please feel free to leave me a message or message me on Facebook.

Do you consider yourself Successful?

Sometimes you have to be reminded of the important "definitions" of words to see where you fall.

Are you a successful person?
Do you inspire others or is it all about you?

You may think these two don't really go together, but if you think about it they really do.

How do you become successful if you don't inspire others to do something ... and then look for an opportunity to help them?

Really if you are helping them, aren't you helping yourself as well?

Let me know what you think?
Are you Successful?
Are you a successful helper?

Let us not forget those who we lost

Let us keep them alive in our hearts and minds.
So many were lost.  Mothers, Fathers, Sisters and Brothers.
Aunts and Uncles who have missed out on so many milestones.

So many have had to go forward with their lives without loved ones.

Many who are alive today do not remember this day.
Many who are alive today were not even born on this day.

For those of us who were within the shadow of the city, who to this day miss the sight of those towers, miss friends and family members who were lost this day, we will never forget.

For us, there will never be a day that we will forget this day.

9/11/01 - 9/11/18

God Bless the families of those who were lost.
God Bless the United States of America.
Today and Every Day.
