Fall Spice Dip with Fruit Chips

I love the fruit that is available in the fall that is fresh from the local farmers market.  I know now we seem to be able to get any kind of fruit any time of year but somehow fresh local fruit (and veggies) always taste different (and better) when they are fresh from the farm.

This one is perfect for all those fresh apples and pumpkin lovers!  I can't wait to try this one.

  • 1 cup heavy cream 
  • ¼ cup pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 apples, cored
  1. Pour heavy cream into base of Power Chef® System. Cover with Whip ’N Prep attachment and turn handle until stiff peaks form.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and turn handle until combined.
  3. Set Mandolin round knob to #6, set triangular knob to “lock” and select the straight v-shaped blade insert.
  4. Attach apples, one at a time, to food guider and push food guider down Mandolin to slice into discs.
  5. Serve immediately with dip.
