Simple Baker 24 Silicone Baking Cups

I was provided the Silicone Baking Cups from Simple Baker to facilitate my review and to give my honest opinion of the product.  I received no other compensation.  I only post products or services that I believe will be of benefit to my readers.

The Silicone Baking Cups by Simple Baker put an end to those paper or aluminum cupcake cups.
The colors that are part of the set (not the colors I received) look awesome.

I did not receive the blue or the purple color .. mine included 23 (yes my package was short 1 cup) total cups 4 pink, 4 orange, 4 yellow and 11 green.  Hopefully this was just because they were rushing to get out my package and not the norm.  Personally I didn't have a problem with the missing colors or the "extra" greens, but if you were doing this for a child and they didn't like green ... well that could be a problem.

I really liked the fact that they are BPA Free and are Environmentally friendly as well as super easy to clean.  They are dishwasher safe and stain resistant.

I have not yet cleaned them in the dishwasher (I washed by hand the first time and let them air dry on the counter) but just knowing that you can could be a lifesaver.

I made some butter cupcakes with lemon and blueberries ... oh yes these will be perfect

As you can see, they don't look any different then the paper ones when they are waiting to be devoured, but will be great to re-use and in the long run save you money!

I really liked that you don't need to use any non-stick spray on these.  I also did a test of these with some used as is and some used with a non-stick spray.  As you can see the ones in the green cups - no spray,  and the yellow cups - with spray, don't really look any different once the cupcakes are removed.  They were extremely easy to remove and yet still "whole" cupcakes - no real cake left inside the silicone cups.  I don't know about you but sometimes I find more on the paper cups then we get to eat!  Yes there is a little more on the side of the green cup, but I think overall you could very easily go without any non-stick spray and be very happy.

But I may just continue to use the non-stick spray on mine when I do something that has a "filling" so that I don't chance having the filling ooze out too soon when it is taken out of the "cup".

Oh and they have a 100% cash back lifetime guarantee!  Really is a wonderful thing, but I don't think you will need it.

All in all I think these are a great find and know I will be using these again and again.

It's your Opportunity ....

This one is kind of simple and kind of deep at the same time.

I think I will think of everything as a GIFT.
I could feel sorry for myself, but what will that give me?
Once the tears are finished I will have bloodshot eyes and probably a headache.

I would rather think of the events as an opportunity to grow and not an obstacle to get over or around or keep me from moving forward.
I could think of it as an obstacle so that I would have a "reason" other than me for staying in the same spot and not growing, not moving on.

Yes I think I will think of it as a GIFT.
Yes I will think of it as an OPPORTUNITY.
Look out folks ...
I AM going to be doing GREAT things
Because I CAN!

Another Soup Mug Recipe

It is the simple things in life that make you smile.
I really love this idea and of course know that it will work perfectly in the Tupperware CrystalWave Soup Mug.

The Soup Mug is just so versatile, and I love sharing recipes like these.  There are so many recipes out there for single servings of the every day meals, I have at least 5 Tupperware Soup Mugs myself ... just so I always have one to try something new!

Want your own Tupperware CrystalWave Soup Mug for your very own?  Check them out on my Tupperware Site.  I bet you will be surprised at how many wonderful things we have at Tupperware.  So much more than the stuff your mama or grandma had to choose from!

Which are you - Boss or Leader?

So which are you?
Which do you want to be?

Do you really know the difference?

I have had both in my work life and rather a leader but you can't always "pick" which one you report to.

I hope I have been a leader more often than not in my "boss" roles of the past.  And that I can continue to show those traits in the future.

How about you?
Do you agree?
Which have you had more of in your work history?
Which are you or have you been?  Or want to be?

You DO deserve your most important dreams

Sometimes I think this is my mantra or should be and maybe just maybe it will sink in.

I always seem to worry when good things happen that I've been hoping would happen that something will go wrong.  Or that it will get taken away because I really didn't deserve them ... Notice I didn't say I didn't earn them - because I probably more than likely did because I put my heart and soul into it.  I just don't always think I deserved them.

I find that I am not afraid to pursue them (well most of the time I'm not) I'm just not sure that I deserve them when they finally come to fruition.

How about you?
Are you afraid to pursue your dreams?

Or do you don't think you deserve them once they happen?

Your best days have yet to happen

Some days, especially when its really really cold and you end up being stuck inside (and still freezing) that you get down.

At least I know I do.  You are stuck inside, you don't have a lot you can do and you start thinking about what's happening in your life.  Maybe you aren't happy with what has been happening as of late.  It may not be that bad, really, but when you have a lot of time on your hands and no way to go out and "work off the blues" ... well you know what happens.

This one is pretty good - time to make this the mantra of the month.  Especially now that it is so cold all over the country, more and more people may be feeling like they are missing out on something.

Sort of makes you perk up and see the brightening up of the day ... doesn't it?

Petunia Skincare 1.0mm Derma Roller + Eye Serum + Anti-aging Serum Review

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to test out these great skin care products in exchange for my honest opinions.

Lets start with the Derma Roller.  One of the first things I noticed was how the roller "pins" were so thin, almost needle-like but not pin sharp. If you run your finger over the roller head it almost feels like the "pointy" side of velcro.  I'm sure if you pushed really hard it might just hurt but when you gently run the roller back and forth over your skin in a horizontal, vertical and even diagonal motion a couple of times you start to feel a tingle that is very nice. The roller will help to stimulate the natural collagen production under your skin without leaving bruising or a discoloration that can happen with other methods.

Over the course of my using the Derma Roller these past few weeks, I have found that my old acne scars are being reduced. I will admit that after the first few uses, although I didn't know what to expect, I really didn't think anything was happening. But lately I have been noticing that some of the scars/redness are less noticeable and I'm using less makeup to cover them.  I've been using this every couple of days and find that it also helps to use less moisturizer, but it seems to be absorbed more.

Petunia Skincare's Revitalize Eye Serum has been a winner for me from the first week. As an accountant, this is going to be my "busiest" time of year and I was hoping that this product would be what I needed to keep the bags under my eyes from having bags this year. I have to say that it really does work and works much better than I thought it would. Now I won't say that the puffiness under my eyes is completely gone (but then again limited sleep will do that to you) but it has definitely made a difference and I believe it will keep my eyes looking less "puffed" and less "tired" this tax season.

They say you can use this product twice a day, I have been using the Eye Serum every morning as part of my regular routine and then in the evening when I look in the mirror and see "tired eyes".  I think that is what has been making me feel better by the end of the day.  There is no greasy feeling to the Serum, but it does "cool" the skin under my eyes after a long day.  The real test will be how my eyes look/feel by the middle of April!  You really don't need to use very much, just a little "dab" will do it, so the product will last so that you can see some great results.

The final product in this trio was the Hyaluronic Acid Serum.  Although you can use this product under your makeup, I have found that I like it better at night. At first I had put much too much of the product on my face and found it didn't absorb into my skin and left me with an "itchy" feeling.  To say I wasn't a fan at that point was an understatement.  BUT I kept trying to get the "dose" correct, from the dropper because I wanted to give it a fair try. Once I got the amount down (my product bottle had a dropper instead of a pump) that itchy feeling was gone and the product was being absorbed into my skin without having to "wipe it off" so that I could leave the bathroom.  Because the product is a thicker liquid, having it in a dropper bottle made it harder to figure out how much to use each time.

Now that I have the usage amount down, I have been using it every other night at the end of the day after I take off my makeup.  I don't know about you, but I always feel like my skin is dryer and tighter after I take off my makeup and not in a good way.  Since I've been using this product, I'm finding that I don't have that "dry" feeling as I have in the past.  This is definitely a good product to help bring moisture back to your skin, fight those fine lines and keep your skin young looking.  And we all like that idea right?

I have to say that as a whole, these three products are the perfect combination for everyone but especially for those of us who are over 30.  They seem to work well together as a "skin rescue" even when you don't think / realize that was exactly what you needed.

As I had said earlier, I received the above product to facilitate my review, I received no other compensation, and give my honest opinion. I will only promote products that I believe are in the best interest of my readers

Courage to Continue

This is probably one of the most difficult things to learn, but one of the most important.

Sometimes I think that we teach our children that success is the only option.
If they do not gain success they are a failure.

I know, that one was hard to type but I think I see it much too much in our youngest people today.

Just because you have success, doesn't mean you stop.
Just because you have been successful in one thing, doesn't mean you will always be successful.

You need to fail to be able to see what it is to succeed.
You need to experience a failure to learn how to succeed.

Failure is not the worst thing that can happen.

Not having enough courage
to pick yourself up and try again
is the worst thing!

Have you won today?

Pretty much enough said ... right?

Thanks Sun Gazing

What about you?

I saw this one and just had to share.

Some days you just want to pull the covers over your head and forget the world.  You know what I mean - every one and every thing seems to either be wrong or you are wrong, and nothing you think you can do can change it.

Well today that is not going to happen.  Nope not today ...

I am taking this one to heart ...

Time to Attack the Day!

Tupperware's Presidents Day Week Sale!

I just saw this one when my weekly Tupperware Email was released and just HAD to share it, especially since one of the pieces included in the sale hasn't been available for a very long time, but I've been asked about it many times.  You can check out these and so much more on my Tupperware Site.

This is an awesome sales since each piece is on sale for just $12 each.  BUT only for this week!

The Egg Tray Inserts haven't been around for more years than I have been a Tupperware Consultant, but it seems many people remember them because I've been asked about them often.

Well here they are .. for just 1 week ONLY you can get not 1 set but up to 5 sets of these inserts for just $12 each!

The egg trays (1 set of 3) will fit in the Large Snack-Store so if you have one of those, you can use it to hold the egg trays and have an awesome way to share/transport deviled eggs or hard boiled eggs or just eggs in general.  Don't have one of the Large Snack-Stores?  That's right you can get one for just $12 this week!

There is always a Tupperware party going on at my Tupperware Page, (enter your name and email, check no and you can order on the party) so if you are interested in any of these (I know you are - I'm even getting some that I don't have) jump on the party and you could be this month's mystery hostess and get a gift from me ... just cause I can.

But HURRY these great pieces are only available this week (Feb 14 - Feb 20th) before the vintage pieces go back into the vault and the regular Tupperware pieces go back to full price!

Mid February Brochure from Tupperware

Well its that time again
Time for a new mid month Brochure from Tupperware!
All of these items are available on my Tupperware Site starting Saturday Feb 14th through March 13th.

As we get ready for Spring, there are some awesome new colors that are being debuted with this brochure.  The Impressions 28 Pc. Collection is a great set that can be "split up" into a perfect girlfriend set.  Each of you would get a set of the Classic Impressions Bowls, a Colander (fits into the largest Impressions Bowl) with Serving Spoons, 4 tumblers and 4 plates!
And then there are the Dining Trays ... if you have kids or grand kids they are a MUST.  But even if it is just you or you and a significant other, these would be great for dinner in front of the TV or on the deck/patio (unless you live up north and then that will need to wait).

And remember the Heavenly Hummingbird Cake that I showed you earlier this month?  The cake "plate" that it was pictured on is the Round Cake Taker with the free Egg-ceptional Server set in this month's brochure!

As always we have a mid month short term section at great sale prices, but remember that purchases must be submitted by midnight February 27th.  So if you are interested in one (or all) of these ... like the Frozen Lunch Set or Tumblers (at this awesome price) you want to make sure you grab this one early.

The Impressions 9 pc Mini Set is perfect for a kids "tea" party!
Personally, I love the Squeeze It Decorator ... everything stores inside, so no tips get lost, but are easy to remove when its time to be "creative".

Check out these and so much more on my Tupperware Site.  Questions?  Message me.
Want to have your own party and earn Free Tupperware?  Message me.
Want to be a Consultant so you can get all this and more at a 25% discount and earn Commissions and Prizes?  Message me.

OH OH ITS FRIDAY THE 13TH!!!

I know you aren't really scared ..... right?
Not really dreading the day.
It's going to be a wonderful day (just a little bit "cold" here on the East Coast).

Here's this super cute little guy....

to help you welcome the day!

Just so so cute,
I love this little puff ball with the big big eyes.

Chicken Curry

I know we eat a lot of chicken in this house, and I am always looking for other ways to cook it so we don't get "bored" with the same ole same ole.

This one looks good, especially for the cold weather (deep deep down cold) we are having here on the East Coast.

Chicken Curry

I will be trying this one, maybe this coming Sunday, since I think I heard our "high" would be in the single digits and with the wind chill they are talking dangerous numbers (I think I heard -10 to -15 for us in NJ)

I think I have most of the things needed already and of course I have the Tupperware pieces (I really LOVE my Tupperware Microwave Pressure Cooker), which you can pick up on my Tupperware Site, along with all the other wonderful things Tupperware has!

Be unstoppable

Had to "borrow" this from my cousin's Facebook Page to share with you.  Yes in my opinion it is that important.

I think that this is something that we need to instill in our children, both boys and girls so that they will embrace their failures and LEARN from them and move forward.

Once we realize that failure is NOT the end, but the beginning of a new journey, we can and will be unstoppable!

The best revenge

I know we are not suppose to be vengeful.
I know we are not suppose to seek revenge,
especially since Karma seems to do that so very well.

But I thought this one is perfect.
You aren't being vengeful or seeking revenge,
just bettering yourself.

But when you are successful, you do end up getting revenge ... so don't be messing with success!

And If Karma kicks in early,
and yes sometimes it does happen,
it will make your success all the more noticeable,

to you!

Celebrate all your successes.

Heavenly Hummingbird Cake

This one looks awesome and really simple, thanks to Tupperware.

All the Tupperware products can be picked up on my Tupperware Site, even this really cute cake plate .... which is actually the cake taker with the egg server/carrier turned upside down.  If you don't have one, it will be available on my site with the Mid-February brochure in a little more than a week!

The Stack Cooker, and Power Chef System is always available on my Tupperware Site.

I have been using my Stack Cooker to "cook" in my Microwave since I joined Tupperware - and I never did cook in it before.
My microwave was for "rewarming" only ...
and now I use it with my Stack Cooker, my Smart Steamer and my Pressure Cooker to COOK using my microwave ..
Yes Tupperware has come a long way from the "burp" bowls ... making all kinds of wonderful things to make your daily life easier!

Roaring Hot - A Motorcycle Romance

I have previously read a book by Rachelle Ayala, so when I was asked to review her latest book I was all for it.  Her latest book Roaring Hot! A Billionaire Biker Romance was a bit different from her Christmas Story I read a few months ago.

I will admit I was afraid it would be a sappy romance that anyone could read with a totally predictable story line and ending.  But since I had liked her previous writing I thought I would give it a read.

I am really glad that I did!

Although there were some predictable moments, it had some really nice plot twists.  It wasn't just boy meets girl, girl falls for boy, oh and boy just happens to be a Billionaire and they live happily ever after.

Yes the boy happens to be a Billionaire but he does have some charming and redeeming qualities.  He is handsome as all get out, he's a biker - racer in fact, flies all over the world to race, oh and loves his grandmother to the end of the world.  He would also do anything he could to make her happy.

The girl is a struggling would be actress who is working to make her place in the world, as well as prove to her parents that she can support herself without their help or interference.

There are also some other interesting, colorful and funny characters that "attempt" to help these two get together (although neither thought that was what would be happening) and make Teo's (Mr Bikerman) grandmother very happy.

Together they accomplish all they set out to do ... its just the moments in between that make for a great story.
That being said, I don't think this is a book for anyone to read - I would rate it PG-13 since there are some scenes you may not want your child to read (or maybe you aren't interesting in reading) that are integral parts of the story.

Personally I am really glad that I was able to read this one, and will definitely be looking for more of Rachelle's writing.

As I noted before, I received a copy of Ms Ayala's book to facilitate my review and give my honest opinion.  I received no other compensation. Regardless I only recommend products that I feel would be of value to my readers.

Believe in One Reason ...

I saw this one and thought it was a perfect way to start the day.
If we take this one in and really let it resonate within us, now at the beginning of the month ....

there's NOTHING that we can't do
NOTHING we can't accomplish

Are you with me?
I hope you will be joining me.

Petunia Skincare's Professional Makeup Brush Kit

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to test out these great makeup brushes!
Yes I was rather psyched when I was approved, since I had never tried "professional" brushes and of course who wouldn't want to?

I mean, all my makeup brushes were the every day kind you can get in makeup or at makeup chain stores. These brushes are handmade from Natural and Synthetic Hair for a Precise and Soft Application.

I have always been in awe of what some people are able to do with makeup.  Sometime I think they have to have magic in their fingers, but now I know its having good make up and excellent brushes!

The brushes come in this great travel pouch, that make taking your brushes with you as you travel so much easier.

EVERYTHING has its own slot AND cover so you don't have to worry about losing a brush (my problem) or having something end up on the brush to ruin your style.

Petunia Skincare's Professional 12 Set Makeup Brush Kit

Oh and just to keep your brushes looking and performing like the professional brushes they are, they have included "shields" to use when you clean your brushes.  No more having the soft bristles looking helter skelter or like you have "fly aways" so that you can't draw a straight line, or have "shadow" lines from wayward pieces.

Another thing that I really liked about the entire system, is that you received a "cheat sheet" for the brushes.  This way, if you are new to good brushes, you will know what brush is used for what type of makeup. For example, how many of you have used a Fan Brush before?  I know I hadn't but its in this kit and I now know what to use it for and how to use it.

I only have 1 problem right now ... how do I keep it from going back to school with Jenn?  I may just have to purchase another set for her (her birthday is only a few month away).  And then again my niece, who my sister says is an absolute genius with makeup (and she is only 15 this month) would probably LOVE this set as well.

Oh well this is my current quandary ... but I guess if you have to have a problem, this is the best kind to have.

Did you like what you saw here?  I know I am in love with these (no more basic brushes for me) from the smallest brush to the largest - I know I will never be missing the correct brush for any application!  If you think these are for you (and I believe they are) you can check them out on Amazon - Petunia Skincare - Professional 12 Set Makeup Brush Kit

As I had said earlier, I received the above product to facilitate my review, I received no other compensation, and give my honest opinion.  I will only promote products that I believe are in the best interest of my readers.

It's National Homemade Soup Day

That's right.
It's National Homemade Soup Day.
Did you know that?
I had reminded you back here, with Soups On!

Here in the East, its a wonderful day to be serving / planning on having Soup for lunch or dinner.  And of course Tupperware has the answer with this one.

Chicken Orzo Soup!

Personally I LOVE the Tupperware Pressure Cooker (I use it quite a bit for those quick meals that normally need to be cooked slow all day).  The Quick Chef Pro (and the Power Chef) System is basically in my kitchen at eye level, since I use one of those almost every day!

As always, all of these Tupperware pieces can be picked up on my Tupperware Site.

Happy Homemade Soup Day!

But when I saw this one I wanted to burst out laughing, cause even with the best laid plans ...

Sometimes ...

So tell me, does this happen to you?  Often?

Definitely did to me today ...
