Take me as I am.

I loved this one.

Sometimes I see people (especially young girls) trying to be something that they are not.
Aside from the fact that most of the time they just look silly, it makes me think about what we are teaching them.
I know that I am guilty of this sometimes too.  But I think we need to impress upon them that they ARE special.  That they ARE desired for who they ACTUALLY are - not some "act".

I believe that this is best taught by our actions ....

What do you think?
Do you think we should be something that we start teaching our children (not just the girls)??

They are ALL valuable for who they ARE - for who WE ARE.

This is super important. Until kids learn that they must stop comparing themselves to everyone else, we will never have a nation of happy adults. It all starts in childhood! Thanks for this post!
