Happy Easter to all

Today is the day we rejoice in the risen Lord.
The day when we feel refreshed to know that all things are possible with God
because even death could not keep Jesus from fulfilling the Lord's promise.

If death could not succeed in stopping the promise, who are we to doubt God's love, His promise for all of us?

Let this be the day we reaffirm our belief in Him.

Happy Easter

Yesterday's Junk

I am sure you have seen or heard this before, but sometimes you just need that reinforcement that kind of hits ya upside the head when you aren't listening

Consider this your "upside the head" moment!

You can thank me later.

OMG I'm stressing out because I'm stressed out

You know this time of year is "bad" for me - just not enough hours in the day to get everything done, but somehow we have to 'cause the tax man doesn't want to wait......

Yup that about sums it all up.

So how is your day going?

Grow Flowers NOT Weeds

This is just a wonderful picture to help "plant" the message.

The more we think of wonderful things, the more we use those thoughts to create wonderful things the better off we will all be.

NO MORE planting WEEDS!!

Fighting Children's Cancer - What Cancer Cannot Do

I took some time off from fighting those tax forms to support a wonderful cause.

As I sat listening to some of the stories of those who had been helped in the past year, and the great kids who were given scholarships who have been fighting the fight and still moving forward, the one thing that kept flashing through my mind was ..... But for the grace of God go I.

I have two great kids.  Oh we had our trials and tribulations, as all parents with kids do, but this was one fight we did not have to fight.  I will be honest, I don't know how they do it.  I don't know if I would have had the fortitude that some of these parents (and kids) have, to go on each and every day and continue to fight no matter how difficult the day may be.  Yes they could be called heros, maybe not in the traditional way, but for their friends and families they most certainly are.

This wonderful piece was placed at each table, that I had to pass on to you

What Cancer Cannot Do

Cancer is so limited ...

It cannot cripple love.                      It cannot shatter hope.
It cannot corrode faith.                    It cannot destroy peace.
It cannot kill friendship.                  It cannot suppress memories.
It cannot silence courage.                It cannot invade the soul.
It cannot steal eternal life.               It cannot conquer the spirit.

Check out their Facebook Page Fighting Children's Cancer Foundation  where you can see what was happening last night and hopefully it will continue to expand the foundations reach.

Home-made Dryer Sheet by Tupperware!

GO GREEN

Home made dryer sheets.

Using a Tupperware Pic-A-Deli and a sponge.
SUPER Easy and you NEVER have to buy those paper dryer sheets again!
No more adding to the landfills.

What you need:

Liquid Laundry Softener
Water.
1 Sponge
1 Pic-A-Deli Container
(its for more than just pickles!)

Mix 1 part Liquid Laundry Softener with 2 parts Water in your Pic-A-Deli Container.
Take a regular sponge and cut it in half or quarter depending on the size of your sponge.
Drop the pieces into your softener solution.

When ready to put a load in the dryer, take out one sponge piece, squeeze out excess softener and toss in the dryer.

Next load, put the dry sponge back in container take another sponge piece and to toss in with your clothes.

You will always have one at the ready!

You will no longer fill our landfills with hundreds of used dryer sheets, you save money!
When you do have to buy more fabric softener you will find that you have added less to the landfill because you have to buy less often AND your not buying sheet....

GO GREEN!
You can use the Large Pic-A-Deli ($19 online) for this BUT as part of the March Sale items, the small square Pic-A Deli's are bogo right now for $12.50 at a party!  I always have a party going on (not just the online party) - so message me and I will call you for your info so you can get this great product AND go GREEN!

I know I'm picking up a set or two of the small ones -- I'm thinking pickles, olives, roasted red peppers AND my home-made dryer sheets!
I have to thank Cynthia Purcell another Tupperware Consultant for reminding me of this great idea.

Happy St Patrick's Day

Happy Birthday MaryAnn ...

National Water Day with Tupperware Help

There are so many plastic bottles that end up in our garbage/landfills you would think that no one has ever heard of recycling.  No matter how many times I hear people say we need to recycle (which I do) or that they are recycling, the plastic bottles seem to continue to grow.

I know that you want to be part of the solution and with a little help from Tupperware you can do away with plastic water bottles.  This is the week you want to make your purchase if you haven't already.  Why you ask?  We are have an AWESOME sale on Eco friendly water products but only THIS week.  You must order before midnight on Friday March 22nd!  I'm loving this great company - there always have something "cooking" to help us save.

How about 2 36 oz bottles for just $13!

I think Mark Twain make a great point that we should all take to heart.

Remember it's not just you who make you great .... it is also those who you keep around you.

I can still remember my grandmother's words of wisdom ---

You are judged by those you hang around with
You are judged by your friends
Make sure that you are judged PROPERLY.

I'm guessing my grandmother knew about Mark Twain too

March Madness the Tupperware Way

Some of my favorite things from the March Brochure ......

I really love to use head lettuce when we are making sandwiches or subs ...but really HATE when it gets to be like mush before we get to use it all.  We love the artisan bread that you can find in the regular grocery store now, but they really seem to get to be hockey pucks within a day, which of course doesn't make for a great sandwich.

Of course Tupperware has the answer

The Crisp-it container with the lettuce corer is really pretty neat.  I have just recently gotten this and have already found it works great.  AND its only $13 this month!
The Jumbo Bread Server is PERFECT for those artisan bread loaves - no more hockey pucks in my kitchen ... and for $15 I won't be worried about who brings home bread for dinner.
The Fridge Stacker is great.  I have had one for about 3 months and have had coldcuts/lunchmeat/cheeses last exceptionally longer than just keeping them in the plastic bags you get at the deli counter.   At just $12 this month, it will be well worth your wild to pick this one up if you are a "sandwich" family.

And if you take your lunch to work or if you take lunch to school or snacks to the park, this wild and wonderful lunch kit is soooo awesome!

This bag is insulated so it works no matter what the temperature.  I could even see it for a quick trip to the supermarket for frozen goods or ice cream!  And remember Mother's Day is coming, so you could pick this lunch kit one up for $35 this month, put it away for a few months and surprise Mom on Mother's Day.  I would throw in an Insulated Tumbler with the dripless straw seal (I LOVE this feature - yes it really does work) for just $13!

Check out these and all the great Tupperware products on my Tupperware site.
Check out the Tupperware Are YOU feeling LUCKY Event
and perhaps YOU could be VERY LUCKY!

When you can't see beyond the pain

When I saw this I just knew I had to share.

I kept thinking how much this could help people who just feel like there is nothing left for them.   They just can't seem to see that light at the end of the tunnel.

Maybe, just maybe this will help one person know that tomorrow could be a better day.
Keep looking for the bridge, its out there.

Tupperware One Week Only Sale Page

I just saw this in my Tupperware mailbox and wanted to make sure that you all saw how great these sale items are AND give you the opportunity to purchase them at these great prices.

Some of the items --- like the butter dish was available in December but not since so if you are interested ... I'd make sure I picked it up this week while its available AND on sale!
And look at the 1-lb butter dish - that you could also use for cream cheese.  The cookie container is great - I may have to pick up another (ok a set of 2) at this price.

The flat-out set is for 4 sets of 3 for the same price as the 3 sets of 3 in the March brochure --- pretty awesome .... now 4 friends can share or 2 friends could share and have 2 sets each.  So many possibilities.

Here's the only thing.... you can't order these online.  You must order through me directly to get these great prices on these wonderful products.  So if you are interesting in these items - email me and I will place the order for you before Midnight on March 15th!  And I will add you to the list of possible Mystery Hostesses from the Be My Mystery Tupperware Hostess online party running now.

You can order items online through my online party and you are automatically entered (see all the details HERE) and you can order any of these (or all if you want) directly through me and be entered twice.

It's Tupperware's Mid March Brochure

Today is the FIRST day of the Tupperware Mid March brochure that really adds some great products in the mix.  I have to say I went through the brochure already and have so many things from the brochure that I can't believe how much fun I had.  It was like pick 1 from column A, and 1 from column B and 1 from column C .... oh heck just give me 1 of everything!

The Wild Lunch Kit is soooo great!  I have to say you will be the hit of the lunch room if you come in with this one and I bet even your daughter or grand daughter would love to have this one for school - yes it really is nice.

The flat out containers are sooo perfect - I want more than one in my cabinet .... and with this set you get not 1, not 2 but 9!!!! in 3 different sizes so you could keep them all for yourself (and they are great being able to store up against the wall of your cabinet and pop them open when you need them) or you could share with 2 friends and everyone gets one of each size.

OOOOHH and the bread server/keeper is shear perfection ... I hate when someone leaves the bag open and half of the bread ends up stale within days - this ends that problem forever!  The  fridge stackable set is so great for keeping cold cuts fresh longer - no more throwing out messy lunchmeat within days of purchasing.

Oh don't miss out on our Winnie the Pooh set, who doesn't love Winnie the Pooh?  I got one for a baby gift already sooooo you just know it will be perfect.

Don't miss out on these great products at some pretty great prices because they are only available at these prices during the Mid March brochure .... and some may only be available at any price during this time.  Once this brochure is done, they could be gone forever (well or for a long time),

Oh and don't forget if order through my online party, you could be my Mystery Hostess and win the awesome Hostess bonus that is only available in the Mid March brochure.  Don't know what I'm talking about?   Check out Be My Mystery Tupperware Hostess before you order ... !  The Mystery Hostess Prize is the very same one that is in the lower right corner of the flyer above ... pretty sweet right?

Can you tell I like this month's products?  I really do have a Tupperware Addiction (bet you do too) and love being able to get everything I want at discounted prices being a Tupperware Consultant.  If you want to be one too .... message me or email me and I will tell you more and help you get started!

Tupperware Mid February Brochure Final Day

Today is the last day for the Mid February brochure with all these great products that are on sale

Especially the oh so awesome Krazy 8's ........ that would be an awesome awesome Girlfriend set!  Both of you get the same products at half the cost ....... buy 1 Set and split it so you both get the great 4 piece bowl set, you both get 4 awesome tumblers (I love the no spill feature) and you both get 4 microwaveable cereal bowls!  I wish I had had these when my kids were little - the tumblers would be great in the car or on a stroll and just think of the possibilities for the cereal bowls!  And then you get the bowl set is some really great colors!  AND you get to split the cost between you.

I don't have one ... so I will be ordering one before tonight at midnight ... but how about that cake keeper and then getting the egg server for FREE!  Such a great way to serve (and take) deviled eggs anywhere!  I think this would be so great for holiday parties or Summer parties where everyone expects to see some deviled eggs - what a pretty way to show them off (before they are devoured)

Oh and don't forget if you were to order through my online party, you could be my Mystery Hostess and win the awesome Hostess bonus that is only available in the Mid February AND Mid March brochure.  Don't know what I'm talking about?   Check out Be My Mystery Tupperware Hostess before you order ... just be sure, if you want these items, to make your purchase before midnight tonight!

Tupperware makes Bridal Shower Gifts Easy

I have just recently found out that a dear friend finally popped the question.  I thought, along with many of our friends, he would never get around to asking ....... they have been an "item" for what seems like forever!

Well Sunday night I found out that he finally decided it was time to get "serious".  Now a wedding present is easy - no matter what, money is always a great gift to help 1) pay for the wedding and honeymoon and 2) get their home consolidated and "fixed up" they way they want it.

But now we will have the Bridal Shower some time between now and October ..... what to do, what to do, what to get, what to get.  So many options.  I need some help.

Being a Tupperware lover as well as a consultant, I would think that a big box of Tupperware would surely be expected.  This is where you all come in.

If you were going to a bridal shower or were the soon to be new bride, what Tupperware would you like to see in a box.  What item or items do you think I should include in my present?

You know, at least I hope you know, we are NOT you Momma's Tupperware.  We at Tupperware have all kinds of wonderful things available at some great prices AND we are Eco-friendly!  Oh and of course there is that lifetime warranty....  We still have some great tried and true pieces that have been around "forever" because they last and are just plain fabulous.  We also have some great "new" products that keep step with us modern women (and men).

Ive done a quick mental note of things I have and use often and these are some of my initial thoughts on what to put in the box.

Now this would be great for entertaining
And this would be great for small prep work for those just him and her dinners,

And of course this would be a perfect way to help keep their refrigerator organized as they both try to eat healthier at home.

So what do you think?  Check out the latest catalog and products on my Tupperware Site and tell me what you would put in your box for a Bridal Shower, or what you would have liked to have seen in your box when you were a new bride to be.

I bet I could make something like these from just the little "catchall" Tupperware pieces (measuring cups/spoons/spatula etc) before I add a larger item ... this could be fun.  What do you think?  Would this be a cute idea?

I know you all have great ideas and will help me get started on a wonderful Bridal Shower Gift.  And who knows, by the end of the week I could have a wonderful list to choose from - or maybe add them all and then I may have to have a drawing of all appropriate answers for a little thank you Tupperware gift ....... see another reason to help out .... stay tuned.

Out of the mouth of Babes ....

Explaining death to a child is kind of "touchy".  You don't want to scare them or make them think that everyone they love are going to die for no reason or make them afraid to do things because they could die.  I think this is a wonderful way to start the explanation of why those things we love die.  Obviously you don't want to start with "people" in their lives unless there is no choice, but most children are exposed to warm wonderfully loving animals as pets or pets of friends and family.

WHY DOGS LIVE LESS THAN HUMAN ?
ANSWER OF A 6 YEAR OLD

This story Melted My heart I wanna share it, so of course it made it's way here for you! Must read .

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.

I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn’t do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.

As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.

The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker ‘s family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.

The little boy seemed to accept Belker’s transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker’s Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives.
Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, ”I know why.”

Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I’d never heard a more comforting explanation. It has changed the way I try and live.

He said,”People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life — like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?” The Six-year-old continued,

”Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay as long.”

Live simply.

Love generously.

Care deeply.

Speak kindly.

Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.

Take naps.

Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Be loyal.

Never pretend to be something you’re not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.
ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY!
